HUE Blankets – Fabric Mixtures of Glorious Colors
If Hue architecture is a harmony of wood, stone, tiles, lacquer and ancient ceramics, then Hue Blankets is a fabric combination that blends those colors — delicate, profound and full of subtlety.
Inspired by the typical colors of the ancient capital's palace — the red of moss-covered tiles, the color of lacquered wood that has faded over time, the pure green of ancient ceramics, the brown of sturdy citadel walls, and the gentle yellow of letters — HQQuilt has created Hue Quilt, a strip quilt that retains its ancient look while still carrying a gentle elegance, like a classical melody resonating in the midst of modernity.
In today's consumer world, there are products that simply exist. But there are also works created to inspire — like a vivid story of cultural beauty, like a warm echo from memory, like a slice of history preserved and breathed into modern life. Hue Quilt is a testament to that connection, carrying the mission of not only warming but also lighting up the soul of the user.

I. The art of piecing fabric – when the blanket becomes a painting surface
Quilting has long been more than just a craft technique. At a high level, it is a visual art form – where the artisan arranges colors, materials and compositions like a painter on a canvas. With “Hue Quilts”, the art of strip quilting does not stop at geometric repetition, but is elevated to a design language, where each strip of fabric is a stroke, each color is a layer of emotion.
Without elaborate patterns, Hue Quilts touches the viewer’s vision with a cultural palette: deep, deep, and suggestive.

II. Design from memory – distilling the spirit of Hue through the language of form
“Hue Blanket” is not a copy of heritage. It is a contemporary interpretation of a glorious past, distilled through the eyes of a contemporary Vietnamese designer. There is no sentimentality of nostalgia, but the solidity of culture when renewed with empathy.
The fabric strips are not arranged randomly, but follow an orderly rhythm - like the rhythm of Chau Van, like the royal music. The contrast between hot and cold, rich and rustic, smooth and rough tones is delicately balanced, creating a harmonious and indigenous whole.
The blanket is not only designed to be covered - but to be looked at, to be admired, to be conversed. It lies between the boundary of application and art, both practical and aesthetic.

III. From the hands of the craftsman to the hearts of the users – a journey of emotions
Every quilting product is a journey of craftsmanship – and soul. With “Hue Blankets”, that journey begins with the careful selection of each fabric – friendly, airy cotton, with the right softness and roughness, suitable for the Vietnamese climate and lifestyle.
Then comes the color matching stage – where the designer listens to the spirit of Hue to find unobtrusive but powerful tones. And then comes the process of quilting, sewing, and finishing by hand – each stitch is as steady as a breath, like a patient whisper with the material, with time.
The quilt maker is not just making a product – they are sending an emotion, a subtle greeting to the user. The recipient of the blanket is not only warmed physically, but also touched by a deep cultural layer, which is increasingly rare in modern life.

IV. “Hue Blankets” – an aesthetic declaration: beauty is profound, not noisy
In a context where consumer products are increasingly dominated by technology, trends and speed, “Hue Blanket” chooses for itself a clear aesthetic statement: true beauty needs time, needs depth, needs identity.
The blanket does not follow the hot trend color, does not have rhinestones, does not have eye-catching prints. It is slow, quiet, and rich in contemplation – like a six-eight poem, a piece of elegant music. It invites users who know how to enjoy, know how to live slowly and deeply, live beautifully and live richly with emotions.
And there, the blanket becomes a subtle symbol of a new way of life: living consciously, and living in harmony with the culture of the roots.

The blanket – the bridge between the beauty of yesterday and today
“Hue Blanket” is not just a new product of HQQuilt. It is a contemporary heritage, told through fabrics, through quilting techniques, and through a knowledgeable and responsible design language.

It speaks for beautiful things that words cannot fully express: a Vietnam with depth, aesthetics, and the desire to convey its identity in a civilized and emotional way.
And above all, it is a gentle gift that the designer wants to give to customers:
A blanket – not just to cover, but to be remembered.
A product – not just to use, but to be understood.
An inspiration – not just from Hue, but from the heart of the Vietnamese people.
HQQuilt – Thu Handmade hopes that our products will remain durable and beautiful over the years. Therefore, in addition to the lifetime warranty and repair service for HQQuilt branded products, we have a few usage recommendations as follows:
Avoid twisting, wringing, or pulling strongly.
Quilt products are usually made from non-stretch fabric. For Quilt fitted sheets on latex mattresses, please avoid stepping or jumping on them. Latex mattresses may sag locally at points of pressure, and jumping can create strong pulling forces that may damage the quilted seams of the sheet.
When cleaning any products, please pay special attention to the first contact with water (the first wash):
Do not soak; wash immediately.
Set the washing machine to a gentle cycle.
Quilts should be washed alone in cool water using a mild detergent.
When drying: ensure the dryer is set to moderate temperature or choose a cool, well-ventilated place to air-dry.
Direct sunlight over a long period can quickly fade the colors of your beloved Quilt and other Handmade products. Please take care to maintain their beauty and durability over time.
