From a wedding quilt to a dream of bringing human-centered art to life
We, the founders of HQQuilt – Thu Handmade – HQ.B, first became aware of quilting in 2014 through a special wedding gift: a handcrafted quilted bedding set, given by a skilled friend. At that time, we had just gone through a difficult period following an economic downturn, which forced us to close our business ventures and focus on building our new home.
After the wedding came a time of uncertainty—caught between the joy of newfound happiness and a future still full of unknowns. In our small wedding room, that colorful quilting set felt like a blooming garden—a lively stage of art that uplifted our emotions, balanced our minds, and let our spirits soar.
We thought: Why not create something this wonderful ourselves? Why not share the beauty and values of quilting with more people?
And so, our very first quilting workshop was born.
Our First Steps
In 2014, we started with the brand Thu Handmade—equipped with only two sewing machines, an iron, and a few stacks of colorful raw fabrics.
In 2015, our first workshop, covering 230m², was established.
By 2016, we officially obtained our trademark registration and continued investing in expanding infrastructure and production processes.

Today, HQQuilt has grown into a trusted and inspiring brand in the quilting and handmade sector in Vietnam:

Embarking on a Journey of Breakthrough
We are preparing for a new stage of development, aiming to move faster and reach further. Transforming our production facility into a limited liability company is the first step toward a professional operating system, which includes:
