For us, happiness is the result of each individual’s Effort, aimed at creating a harmonious state between Heaven and Earth and Reason…

Effort: By choosing the relatively intricate Quilt Combination technique to create visually stunning and impressive patterns, HQQuilt highlights the skillful craftsmanship of Vietnamese quilting artists in general, and of the artisans in our own workshops in particular. HQQuilt believes that everything remarkable can be achieved through dedicated Effort.

Heaven & Earth: In the Happy Quilt Collection, one of the primary colors is Cobalt Blue – representing the sky, intellect, and symbolizing Heaven and Earth within our philosophy of Happiness.

Reason: Reason drives the creation of Happiness. It arranges a truly wise and creative logic to achieve a state of Happiness, helping to perceive the unchanging laws of Heaven and Earth. In the Happy Quilt, Reason is symbolized by Pink–Red.

COLLECTION DETAILS:

1. The First Happiness - Hạnh Phúc Thứ 1.

 

This is the very first product introduced in HQQuilt’s new collection. The design features a gentle color palette, highlighted by two shades of cobalt blue – deep and light – delicately appearing on a background of alternating white and light beige squares.

“The First Happiness” evokes a dreamy, distant memory, like a moment long past, softened by time until its details are no longer clear. The question arises: should we cling to the past, or begin creating new happiness?

HQQuilt invites you to close your eyes, let your inner self answer, and then open your eyes… Life has moved on, and before you lies only The First Happiness – a quilt meticulously crafted by our artisans. This quilt serves as a gentle encouragement to keep moving forward and creating new joys.

Note: This product is not suitable for those who only cling to the past…

2. The Second Happiness – Hạnh Phúc Thứ 2.

The second product in HQQuilt’s collection, The Second Happiness, shares a similar quilting style with The First Happiness, yet its color composition creates a distinctly striking impression. HQQuilt emphasized color gradation to bring clarity and freshness to the entire piece.

All the main patterns are crafted from deep cobalt blue squares, while lighter blue elements serve as transitional tones, leading to a backdrop of pristine, pure white squares. The quilt’s border is designed in a rich cobalt tone, accentuated with an exquisitely delicate decorative stitch running along the edge.

The Second Happiness now presents a structured and rational composition, reflecting the human state after moving beyond early dreams, seeking and pursuing tangible and clear aspects of life.

The Third Happiness – Hạnh Phúc Thứ 3.

 

The third product in the collection presents an entirely new nuance. Not only does it feature the appearance of soft pink, but its composition is also more intricate than the previous two pieces.

At the center of the design, small four-blade pinwheel triangles are set amidst green patterns, symbolizing the tiny sprouts of life being nurtured and developed. Soft pink appears more prominently throughout the layout, forming a gentle and soothing background with separated pattern blocks.

The quilt’s border is crafted from a strip of blue, which HQQuilt describes as a clear, energetic sky, full of positive vitality, promising new chapters of life yet to be written…

4. Conplate Happiness – Hạnh Phúc Tròn Đầy.

Complate Happiness

Complete Happiness overflows with pink hues and the joyful sounds of life. It represents either a deeply cherished memory or a significant milestone in life that HQQuilt hopes everyone will experience—complete, full, and utterly fulfilling.

This quilt is primarily composed of tiny triangles and squares, arranged according to a precise pattern to form vibrant heart shapes. Numerous heart motifs stand out against a pristine white background, radiating purity and serenity.

Surrounding the quilt are stylized vines adorned with multicolored leaves. The pink vine symbolizes the red thread of love, binding couples together in eternal happiness.

5. Eternal Happiness – Hạnh Phúc Vĩnh Cửu.

At the heart of the Happy Quilt Collection lies Eternal Happiness – a form of joy that does not exist in a world without love and wisdom. It represents the highest, absolute happiness, appearing only after one has truly experienced and awakened.

To convey this profound happiness, HQQuilt incorporates nearly all colors and a wide variety of patterns:

• Colors: Harmonious combinations of blue, red, purple, yellow, and more, creating a joyful and lively effect.

• Patterns:

  • Central motif: Represents the harmony between Earth, Sky, and Reason.

  • Second layer: Depicts the universe with stars scattered across the cosmos.

  • Third layer: Forms maple leaves, symbolizing nature and life on Earth.

  • Fourth layer: Features colorful four-blade pinwheels that seem to spin endlessly, evoking new winds, continuous motion, and the energy of creativity, optimism, and joy.

All colors and patterns are composed on a consistent cobalt blue background, forming the foundational soul of the Happy Quilt Collection.

The Eternal Happiness quilt is made from 1,470 individual pieces of fabric, meticulously quilted stitch by stitch. This intricate craftsmanship demonstrates that the art of quilting in Eternal Happiness is both complex and highly detailed. Through this work, HQQuilt aims to:

• Showcase the exceptional quilting talent of Vietnamese artisans.

• Deliver a meaningful message about happiness, reminding the community of life’s beauty and encouraging a positive spirit.
